About your host...
Linda Karaberis is a self described foodie. She loves everything about food, including cooking, eating and shopping for it. She enjoys entertaining, teaching people how to cook, and trying new restaurants. Her enjoyment of food began with childhood experiences of cooking with her grandmother and mother, and continued with more than 20 years of experience in various areas of the Foodservice and Hospitality industries.
"I want the focus of Linda's Kitchen to be on creating fun and easy dishes, as well as learning new techniques. A heartfelt goal is to encourage people who don't cook, to want to cook. For people who do cook, I hope to present new techniques, kitchen gadgets and recipes. I also invite viewers to contact me to ask questions, suggest topics for future shows and present other ideas about food. "
Linda holds a BA in Mathematics from Rhode Island College and an AS in Food and Beverage Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
